Course Goals (acquired competencies): Preparation of the student for performing research work, as a prerequisite for writing a Master’s thesis. Also, preparation for independent research and developing scientific creativity.

Course Syllabus: Methodology of scientific research and application work. Selection and study of relevant literature for research. Setting the subject, methods and goals of the research. Defining research methods. Acquisition of data and data processing. Setting the experiment. Setting the simulation or the laboratory environment. Preparation of the Master’s thesis.
