Course Goals (acquired competencies): The student will be capable for theoretical and practical work in advanced quantum communications and quantum computations, plus introduction and work with quantum technologies, services and systems. With the knowledge given in this course, the student will have opportunity to learn and to get skills from quantum engineering and quantum communications & computations. Also, the student will get knowledge for modern advanced quantum communications, computations in quantum computers and systems.
Course Syllabus: History and developments in quantum communications and quantum computations. Quantum information theory. Quantum bits, quantum state and introduction to quantum communications & computations. Quantum noise and quantum operations. Quantum computation algorithms. Quantum Fourier transformations and their applications in quantum communications & computations. Teleportation and quantum cryptography. Quantum communication systems, quantum computers and quantum devices.
