Course Goals (acquired competencies): Afer completing this course, the student willl have advanced knowledge in numerical linear algebra methods and its application in practical problems.
Course Syllabus: Introduction to Linear Algebra. Algorithms and Numerical Stability. QR factorization and least squares problems. Condition number. Systems of equations. Algorithms for finding eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Shur decomposition and SVD. Iterative methods. Convergence analysis. Minimization methods. Applications.
