Course Goals (acquired competencies): The objective and learning outcomes of the course The trainee will possess the knowledge and skills required to work in the field of international and national transport of passengers as a planner, manager, adviser, policy maker or transporter. At the completion of training, the trainee will be able to: - follow and understand the European regulations - implement properly the regulation in the field of international and national passenger transport - work in national institutions responsible for adjustment and implementation of European Law.
Course Syllabus: Course content: - European strategy and policy for transport - European directives an regulations in the field of passenger transport: Road transport (safety, professon regulations, passengers rights, road taxes) Rail transport (market regulation, infrastructure, passenger rights, international relations) Air transport (international transport, safety, common european sky, airports, environmental protection).
