Course Goals (acquired competencies): By successfully completing this course, the candidate will acquire competences for: designing electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses, methods for optimal programming and production technologies.

Course Syllabus: Computer based design of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Introduction to the computer based design of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Mathematical models for computer based design of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Databases. Methods for optimal design of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Algorithms and computer programmes for parameters evaluation of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Algorithms and computer programmes for optimal design of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses.  Elements of computer graphics for computer disign of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses.  Manufacturing technology of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Manufacturing technology development for electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Computer preparation of technical documentation. Computer monitoring of manufacturing technical processes of electrical machines, transformers and apparatuses. Computer monitoring of product quality.
