Course Syllabus: Environmental Impact and History of Modern Transportation. Concept of Hybridization of the Automobile. HEV Fundamentals. Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Special Hybrid Vehicles. Grid integration of EV. Provision of ancillary services with Electric Vehicles. Power Electronics in EVs. Electric Machines and Drives in EVs. Modeling of EVS. Batteries, Ultra capacitors, Fuel Cells, and Controls.
