Advanced Mechatronic Systems
Course: Advanced Mechatronic Systems
Code: 3ФЕИТ01016
ECTS points: 6 ECTS
Number of classes per week: 3+0+0+3
Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Mile Stankovski
Course Goals (acquired competencies): The completion of the course will ensue that the students will understand systems as compositions of mechanics, electronics, information, and control, that they will be able to analyze all system components as separate elements. They will also be able to design mechatronic systems and to apply them in robotics.
Course Syllabus: Hybrid systems and a mechatronic system as a special hybrid system. Basics of moving mechanics. Basic models of constructive machine components, electrical servomechanisms, electromechanical drives. Detection and identification of mechanical vibrations. Independent control of mechanical joints. Control and navigation of mobile robots and transporters. Linearization and multivariable control.
