Subject of the course content: Introduction in advanced concepts of process industry. Review of the characteristics of the industrial processes that are largely controlled by model predictive control techniques. The basic idea of model predictive control, mathematical apparatus and practical implementation. Design of MPC for laboratory test bed system.
