Course goals/Competences: Introducing mathematical functions for geometric modeling and their practical usage. Methodologies for drawing these models. Modeling waiting systems using fractal theory.

Curriculum: Affine transformations in a plane. Basic curve models in a plane. Bernstein polynomials. Bѐzier curves (definition, properties, and algorithm). Modelling curves and their application. Compact metric space. Hausdorf distance. Iterative function systems. Fractals. Algorithms for generating fractals. Fractal applications.
