Course goals/Competences: Able to develop and support computer-based measurement systems and transfer measurement data. Design and implementation of computer measurement information systems.
Total available number of classes: 180
Curriculum: Architecture of computer units for data acquisition. Adjusting the measurement signals. A/D and D/A conversion. Standard interfaces, serial and parallel. Virtual measurement systems. Graphical programming and introduction to LabVIEW. Working with variables and their declaration, cycles, fields and clusters. User interface, record and display of the measurement results. Examples of measurement-information management and measurement systems based on PC.
