Course goals/Competences: To get familiar with different methods and tools for development of applications and services for different telecommunication platforms.

Curriculum: Overview of telecommunications services and applications. Design and development of telecommunication services. Architecture of telecommunication services: client / server access, peer-to-peer approach, multicast services. Databases used in telecommunications services. Programming environment for the development of telecommunication services and applications. HTML, XHTML and CSS languages ​​. Java and JavaScript programming languages ​​. XML. Use of the PHP in development of telecommunication services. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS): NGN networks, architecture and services. Safety aspects in the development of telecommunication applications.
