Course goals/Competences: Students will gain basic knowledge of distribution systems by using software for planning and analysis of power systems
Total available number of classes: 180
Curriculum: Calculation of peak load of consumers. Distribution network configurations. Computation of voltages and power losses in MV distribution networks. Voltage regulation. Optimal location and sizing of capacitor batteries. Reduction of power losses in MV distribution networks. Control and energy management, SCADA, DSM, GIS. Distribution systems automation.
