Course goals/Competences: To understand and to adequately describe the principles and applications of electric and hybrid vehicles. Competence for adequate choose of electric vehicles.

Curriculum: A brief history of electric vehicles, vehicles of today and vehicles of the future. Dynamic behavior of traction systems. Overview of electric machines and drives applied in electric vehicles. Electric and hybrid vehicles. Environmental impact of electric transport.
