Course goals/Competences: Achieving knowledge of methods for measurements of electrical quantities. Getting acquainted with the principles and usages of measurement instruments.

Curriculum: Basic terms and definitions in measurement techniques. Legal metrology. Static and dynamic characteristics and blog structures of measuring devices. Theory of uncertainty, errors of repeatable and indirect measurements. Measurement transducers, transducers of alternative to direct signals. Analogue instruments. Digital instruments, structural elements, measurement of time interval and frequency. Digital voltmeters. Measurement with oscilloscope. Measurement bridges. Introduction in remote measurements and measuring systems.
