Course goals/Competences: Introduction to basics of lighting, lighting sources and installations/systems, design aspects of enterior and exterior lighting. Design of simple lighting systems (selection of appropriate lighting sources, lamps and photometric calculations)

Curriculum: Light, vision and color. Basic lighting quantities and definitions. Lighting properties of materials. Light bulbs. Lamps. Lighting systems. Enterior lighting. Road and street lighting. Sports facility lighting. Lighting measurements.
