Course goals/Competences: Introduction to Embedded elements of computer systems, embedded computer systems, operating systems for embedded systems, various personal computer systems. Techniques for network and remote connectivity used in Embedded Systems.

Curriculum: Introducing various types of microcontrollers and their usage in embedded computer systems. Real-time systems and systems for low-power calculations. Appropriate operating systems. Designing such systems. Designing small personal devices. Connecting embedded systems in existing network architectures.
