Course goals/Competences: students will obtain knowledge associated with application and design of low-voltage apparatuses for commutation in low voltage electric circuits, protection of electromechanical devices and standards for using these devices in low voltage and high voltage networks.

Curriculum: General characteristics of low-voltage apparatuses (LVA) Commutation systems in LVA, Transients and occurrences during commutation in electric circuits. Motion systems in LVA. LVA for electricity distribution. Contactless electrical devices.
