Course goals/Competences: Students are able to work with measurement devices and measurement information systems in telecommunication.

Curriculum: Measurement role in quality control in telecommunication equipment. Programmable measurement devices. Microprocessors and applications in measurement technique. Interfaces. Measurement data acquisition. Measurement of frequency and period. Measurement of high frequency power. Errors in measurement high frequency power. Measurement of nonlinear distortions. Impulse generator. Signal analyzer. Spectral analyzer. Logic analyzer. Digital memory oscilloscope.
