Course goals/Competences: Introduction to IEEE and ETSI network standards, network devices with various purposes and architectures, as well as operating systems for their control and management.

Curriculum:  Different types of network devices, their organization, architecture and field of use. Operating systems for network device programming and configuration. Existing standards in the area of computer-communication networks.
