Course goals/Competences: Understanding basic conditions within RF circuits. Understanding basic concepts of RF and microwave circuits. Development of skills for designing and applying of RF circuits.

Curriculum: Resonant circuits: definition, transformation of impedances coupled resonant circuits. Filters: general types, low pass, high pass band pass and bandstop, effect of finite values of Q factor. Smith charts construction and application. Active elements in RF, equivalent models, S parameters. Low power RF amplifiers, analysis wit S parameters. RF power amplifiers.
