Course goals/Competences: Obtaining an expert's knowledge for design of the technical documentation for construction of the small power plants, electrical equipment selection and connection to the grid.

Curriculum: Small Hydro Power Plants (SHPP), classification, importance. SHPP on the river's waterflow. SHPP on mountain high level waterflows. Water intakes and waterways for SHPP. Powerhouse for SHPP. Turbine's types for SHPP. Generators for SHPP. Control and monitoring of the SHPP. Rehabilitation of the SHPP. Design of the electrical part of the SHPP. Tender specification for SHPP.
