Course goals/Competences: The course goal is to assist the students in getting the practical technical and professional competence for using Standards and Directives in the Energy sector, and related industry application

Curriculum: The need of Standardization and Regulative in the modern society. Standards enable manufacturers to comply with European legislation and international standardization bodies. Review of ISO IEC, CENELEC, (Committee for electro technical standardization), CEN, What is European Standard. Types and common requirements of the Standards. Standardization and Energy Low in Republic of Macedonia. Application of different standards in the field of Energy, Engineering and Distribution. European Directives and Regulative in the Energy sector. Regulatory Agency role and main tasks. Incentives mechanism and feed in tariffs for Renewable Energy Sources.
