Course goals/Competences: The student will become familiar with principles of management in telecommunications networks and managing of multimedia services and applications.

Curriculum: Principles of telecommunication networks management. Standards and standardization bodies. Functionalities of network management. Network elements managerment, management of applications and services (web, AAA). Management in wireless multimedia networks. Radio resource management, mobility management. IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) architecture and concepts. Layered structure and protocols for implementation of IMS. Services in IMS.
