Course goals/Competences: Students will obtain competences and knowledge of methods and features for testing the different types of electrical machines from the aspects of their electrical and non-electrical parameters.

Total available number of classes: 180

Curriculum: General aspects of testing the rotating electrical machines and transformers (EMT's) Methods for testing the electrical and non-electrical characteristics of EMT. Meaning of insulating systems of EMT's. Direct and indirect testing methods for EMT's. Determining of working characteristics of generators, motors and transformers. Features of parallel running of rotating machines. Parallel work of transformers.
