Curriculum: Overview of 802.11 wireless networks. 802.11 MAC. 802.15 - Bluetooth, wireless personal networks, 802.16, and their variants. Broadband wireless networks, ad hoc wireless networks. Quality of Service and multimedia support. Security of wireless networks. Satellite networks. Connecting to wireless local networks by means of LAN and WAN.
