Course Syllabus: 1. Introduction: discrete-time and hybrid control systems and their application. 2. Sampling, quantization, hold circuits in discrete-time control systems. 3. Linear discrete-time control systems analysis: mathematical models, transfer functions, block diagrams. 4. Linear discrete-time control systems time and frequency response: characteristics and performance indices. 5. Stability of linear discrete-time control systems: stability criteria, root locus. 6. State-space models and analysis of discrete-time control systems.
