Course Goals (acquired competencies): Introduction to theoretical and practical aspects of classic control systems design. Acquiring skills for solving a broad class of theoretical and practical problems in the field of classic control system design and ability to design such systems.

Course Syllabus: Performance indices of transient and steady state response of control systems. Design criteria. Analytic design of control systems. Compensation and compensators. Nyquist frequency design. Bode frequency design. Root locus design. State space design.
