Course Syllabus: Overview of telecommunication services and applications. Design and development of telecommunication services. Telecommunication services architecture: client / server access, peer-to-peer access, multicast services. Databases used in telecommunication services. Programming environment for development of telecommunication services and applications. WEB technologies for development of telecommunication services and applications. Development of Java services and applications. Use of PHP for development of telecommunication services. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS): NGN Networks, Architecture and Services. Security aspects of  telecommunication applications.
