Digital Signall Processing Systems
Course title: Digital Signall Processing Systems
Code: 3ФЕИТ05Л036
Number of credits (ECTS): 6
Weekly number of classes: 3+1+1+0
Prerequisite for enrollment of the subject: Taken course: Digital Signall Processing
Course Goals (acquired competencies): The course aims to introduce the student to the techniques of multirate processing, a concept that is applied in a large number of applications, as well as to familiarize him with basic tools and hardware for real-time processing. Upon completion of the course, the student will: - demonstrate understanding and competence for solving practical problems with multi-rate processing; - can distinguish when processing non-stationary signals; - can optimally implement the basic algorithms for digital signal processing in real time; - has the basic knowledge needed to implement the algorithms on hardware for DSP.
Total available number of classes: 180
Course Syllabus: Multirate digital systems. Basic operations: decimation and interpolation. Filters banks for analysis and synthesis. Polyphase representation. Efficient structures for decimation and interpolation. Application of multirate digital systems. Maximum decimated filter banks. Polyphase representation. Perfect reconstruction.
