Course Goals (acquired competencies): Being able to start and run a small business (selecting a business idea, developing a business model, generating seed capital, developing a marketing and sales plan, finding resources, etc.) developing initiative, innovativeness, proactivity, self-confidence, taking risk, etc.

Course Syllabus: Introduction to Entrepreneurship; Importance of entrepreneurship for socio-economic development; Characteristics of the entrepreneur; Decision to start own business (generating business ideas, selecting the best business idea); Marketing (basic concepts, essence and basic market analysis, importance of brands); Principles of new product / service development; Business model development; Basic elements of the management of micro and small firms; The importance of human resource management in small firms; Business financing; Legal aspects in opening a new business; How do I sell my products / services?; Development of the overall ecosystem for support of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Macedonia.
