Course Goals (acquired competencies): Introduction with the possibilities and the ways of using the MATLAB program environment.

Course Syllabus: Introduction in MATLAB program package. Vectors and matrices. Operations with vectors and matrices. Flow Control and cycles commands. Graphic display of data (plotting), graphic display of functions. Analysis of simple electrical circuits with MATLAB. Input-output operations and special input-output (I / O) functions. MATLAB programming (functions, procedures, solving differential equations). Introduction in Symbolic Toolbox. Introduction to Simulink. Construction of block diagrams with Simulink. Definiton of the parameters of Simulink blocks. Simulation. Construction of subsystems. Interaction of Simulink with MATLAB (transmission of variables, Iterations, Simulation in MATLAB).
