Course Goals (acquired competencies): The program objective is to gain skills and competencies in the field of technical standards and regulative. Competencies for implementation the standards in the technical field of interest. Having skills to compare and analyze the different regulatory approaches related to the implementation of renewable energy based system.

Course Syllabus: Definition of Standard and fundamentals of regulatory and directives. International standardization associations. Activities of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and International Standard Organization (ISO). Domestic process of standardization. Low on standardization. Application of technical standards in different fields of Electrical engineering. Fundamentals on liberalization in Energy sector and regulatory policy. International regulatory agencies.
