Network Management Functions. FCAPS model. Fault management. Configuration management. Accounting. Performance management. Security Management. Management protocols: SMTP, NetConf, NetFlow. Managing elements in the network, services and applications (web, AAA). Policy-based management. WEB services and their management. Managing IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) services. Commercial and open source tools for management of communication networks.
