Announcement - New graduate MSc (ECTS second cycle) programme in English language entitled “Wireless and Mobile Communications”

Starting the fall semestar of the academic year 2017/2018, a new graduate MSc (ECTS second cycle) programme in English language entitled “Wireless and Mobile Communications” is being introduced at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at the University Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The study programme is a one year (two semesters) academic study programme in which students are required to earn 60 ECTS including the MSc thesis, lectures are given in English language, and the title that students earn upon completing the study programme is Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies with Major in Wireless and Mobile Communications. Application for this programme is possible from September 11th 2017 to October 9th 2017. The enrollment of the admitted candidates is scheduled for 16th and 17th of October 2017. The cost of the studies is EUR 1500.

Enrollment conditions:

Candidates who have completed the ECTS first cycle of study programme of Telecommunications and Information Engineering at the  Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at the University Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, or a study programme with a similar curriculum or its equivalent may apply.

Documents needed for application and enrollment:

Before applying, the prospective candidate should register at  www.upisi.ukim.mk and complete the electronic application, and then write the obtained application number in the application form submitted when applying.

Candidates should apply at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, with address: Rugjer Boshkovik 18, 1000 Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The candidates should submit the following documents:

  • Application form
  • A printout of the Electronic submission (from www.upisi.ukim.mk)
  • Original document for completed undergraduate studies (ECTS first cycle of studies or equivalent) i.e. diploma or graduation certificate
  • Short biography (CV)
  • Certificate for active knowledge of English language
  • Recommendations from professors and/or researchers (if the candidate can provide such recommendations)
  • A list of scientific/applied publications (if existing) and a copy of each such publication
  • Certificates of prizes, recognitions and other documents

During the enrollment the candidates should submit

  • an index and the application forms
  • two photographs of size 3.5cm x 4.5cm
