Educational activity

The members of the Institute teach courses (12 compulsory and 8 elective) in all 9 study programmes at the Faculty in the field of mathematics, physics, electro-optics, mechanics, etc. They also teach most of the courses of the master degree programme of Applied Mathematics in Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, as well as several courses of the master programme Renewable Energy Sources. They also teach courses of few other second cycle programmes organised at the Faculty. All members of the Institute have also prepared courses for the third cycle doctoral studies that will start in autumn of 2010.

Scientific and research activity

The members of the Institute have realised many international and domestic scientific and research projects in the following areas:
  • Application of Neutrix Products and Convolutions of Distributions,
  • South-Eastern European Grid-enabled e-Infrastructure Development 1,
  • South-Eastern European Grid-enabled e-Infrastructure Development 2,
  • South-Eastern European Grid-enabled e-Infrastructure Development for Science,
  • Establishing Centre for Implementation of Low-Cost Technologies for Solar Cells in Macedonia,
  • Development of Protocol for Testing of High Voltage Isolation Oils Used in Medical Roentgen Apparatuses,
  • Protocol for Control of Quality of Technical and Technological Process of Mammographic Systems,
  • Software Application for Traffic Data Analysis in Real Time of the Existing GSM Network in MOBIMAK,
  • Development of Software Application for Monitoring and Static Control of Alarms in the Radio Sector of the Existing GSM Network of MOBIMAK,
  • Development of Software Application for Collecting, Processing and Reporting of Data for TMO KPI of MOBIMAK.
